The City of King City is investing nearly $163,000.00 from the Park SDC fund to improve the large playing field at the King City Community Park. We are planning to add a Baseball diamond and a soccer field in this area. This project would include smoothing and replant the grass and adding a drainage system to help the water move.
This will improve the safety for recreational activities and reduce some of the pocketing for water movement.

King City Park Field Improvement
On March 19th, 2019 the City of King City entered in to an agreement with Pacific Sports Turf Inc. of Tualatin for the Community Park Improvements.
City of King City Parks and Recreation will soon begin improvements to the King City Park Field. Weather permitting, construction will begin the week of May 5th and is estimated to be completed and ready to play on by August 2019. During construction, access to all parking and the playground will be available, Construction site will be clearly identified with temporary signage and fencing.
