BUDGET COMMITTEE VACANCY
The City Council of the City of King City is currently accepting applications to the Budget Committee. The term of service is from 2020 to 2023 (3-year term.) Applicants must be (1) King City residents (2) may not be an officer or employee of the City, and (3) must be a qualified voter of the City. The purpose of the Budget Committee is to review the budget document as proposed by the budget officer.
Once satisfied with the budget, the Committee approves it and forwards it to the City Council for public hearing and adoption. Budget Committee meetings typically occur in May and are noticed as required by law. Meetings are open to the public, and public comment is heard at least one of the meetings.
