A special thanks to Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue!
On October 22, 2009 we had Station 51 come out and give us a presentation at our CERT Meeting. Station 51 is the Technical Rescue Team. They receive extensive training and perform rescues in the areas of confined spaces, rope rescue, general extrication, entrapped patient, structural collapse/advanced heavy rescue, and truck operations.
They spent about an hour with us and we were lucky enough to get a guided tour around the massive heavy rescue truck!
